Business Development Manager – Mining Technology

About the role

Lead Deswik’s growth across Ghana and West Africa by generating new business, building a high‑quality sales pipeline and converting opportunities into long‑term customer partnerships in the mining technology sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue leads across Ghana and West Africa, creating a strong sales pipeline.
• Develop Deswik’s brand presence by attending trade shows and driving regional lead‑generation activities.
• Engage prospective customers to understand operational challenges and propose software and consulting solutions.
• Manage existing client relationships, identifying renewal and upsell opportunities.
• Prepare proposals, support commercial discussions and collaborate with technical and consulting teams throughout the sales cycle.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of business development or sales experience in mining software, mining technology or related technical solutions.
• Proven “hunter” mindset with ability to generate leads, build pipeline and close deals.
• Strong understanding of mining operations and the value of technology solutions.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
• Self‑driven, resilient and able to work independently in a hybrid environment.
