Business Development Officer – Construction & Real Estate

About the role

A construction and real estate company based in East Legon, Accra, is hiring a female Business Development Officer on a full-time basis. The role drives strategic growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing client acquisition, coordinating tender submissions and expanding the company's market footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and pursue new business opportunities in construction, engineering and real estate development
• Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with corporate growth targets
• Build relationships with developers, consultants, contractors, investors and regulatory bodies
• Lead client meetings, presentations and negotiations, and negotiate contract terms
• Identify tender opportunities and coordinate the preparation and submission of technical and financial proposals
• Contribute to annual sales and revenue targets
• Represent the company at industry events and stakeholder engagements

Required profile

• Female candidate only; applications from others will not be considered
• At least 4 years of experience as a Business Development Officer, specifically in construction or real estate
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
• Demonstrable quantifiable results from BD work (deals, revenue, growth figures)
• Experience in tendering and bid management, and knowledge of the construction project lifecycle and real estate development frameworks
• Established network in Ghana's construction and property sectors
