Climate Resilience Project Manager

About the role

The Climate Resilience Project Manager will lead the development of climate‑focused financial products for Advans Ghana, working closely with the TA Provider, international team and local business units.

Key responsibilities

• Support the TA Provider in conducting feasibility studies, including client sampling, logistics and fieldwork.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders (risk, operations, logistics, training, HR, IT) to ensure smooth communication and alignment.
• Assist in adapting loan, savings and insurance products for climate emergencies, defining technical specifications and updating procedures.
• Drive the pilot implementation: finalize documentation, configure core banking systems, train head‑office and field staff, and monitor pilot performance.
• Help define partnership agreements, manage partner relationships and provide training.
• Support the development of a business case, scaling strategy and long‑term funding plan.

Required profile

• Graduate in business, engineering or related field with a focus on project management, development economics or climate/green finance.
• At least three years of project management experience, preferably in a developing country and within the microfinance sector.
• Strong knowledge of climate change risks, impacts and climate finance.
• Excellent time‑management, interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
