About the role
The Nurses and Midwives Council of Ghana is seeking a reliable driver to support its officials by transporting goods, equipment and personnel between Accra, Tema and other designated locations. This full‑time position requires a professional who can ensure safe and timely travel while maintaining the vehicle in good condition.
Key responsibilities
- Convey officials’ goods and equipment to and from designated destinations.
- Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and minor maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate scheduled vehicle maintenance and report completion.
- Prepare trip reports, safety briefings, and accident/incident reports as needed.
Required profile
- Minimum WASSCE/SSSCE certificate.
- Valid driving licence (category D or higher).
- Certificate from an accredited driving institute.
- At least six years of relevant post‑licence driving experience.
Required skills
- Trustworthiness and integrity.
- Leadership and ability to coordinate work across locations.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with modern transport‑management technology.
