Landside Fleet Operations Agent

About the role

In close collaboration with VM, CX, Depot, OCL, M&R and APM Terminals, the Landside Fleet Operations Agent coordinates and optimizes logistical resources so that fleet operations run efficiently within contractual deadlines and prescribed safety standards. The agent is the main coordinator of physical fleet operations and also prepares documentation for billing.

Key responsibilities

• Receive the planning of operations and the equipment available.
• Coordinate with CX, Depot and OCL to obtain files.
• Organize and assign drivers to different operations.
• Monitor and communicate regularly with drivers to keep operations running smoothly.
• Handle challenges and avoid delays, anticipating problems to minimize their impact.
• Push to avoid idle time for trucks.
• Prepare all data for billing and ensure the documentation is archived.
• Report incidents during the shift and write a feedback report on shift activities to share with the Fleet Supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Shipping, Transport and Logistics or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, fleet operations or a related environment.
• Knowledge of road transportation operations and fleet management.
• Willingness to work a 24/7 rotational shift schedule, including day and night shifts, and flexibility for extended hours.
