Finance & Administration Manager

About the role

An established and growing technology services company in Accra is seeking an experienced, proactive and hands-on Finance & Administration Manager to lead its finance function and oversee key administrative operations. This is a senior management position reporting directly to the CEO, working independently and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Accounting, financial management and reporting: prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and cash-flow projections, monitor performance and budget variances, and oversee accounts receivable, payable, invoicing and collections
• Bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, month-end closing and financial controls, approval procedures and accounting policies
• Provide financial analysis, recommendations and regular management reports to the CEO
• Tax and statutory compliance: file tax returns and statutory payments on time, comply with GRA, SSNIT and other regulations, coordinate external audits and identify financial risks
• Supervise finance and administrative staff, oversee office administration and procurement, set responsibilities and workflows, and coordinate with commercial and technical teams on budgets, contracts and payments

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline
• At least 7 years of experience in accounting or financial management, including 3 years in a supervisory or management role
• Strong knowledge of Ghanaian tax regulations and statutory compliance
• Experience supervising finance or administrative staff and working independently
• Preferred: ACCA, ICAG, CIMA or equivalent; experience in IT services, consulting or project-based businesses; experience reporting to senior management

Required skills

• Financial reporting, budgeting, cash-flow management and financial controls
• Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Project costing, contract management and profitability analysis (preferred)
