Fixed Base Management and Commercial Performance Manager

About the role

Telecel is looking for a Fixed Base Management and Commercial Performance Manager in Accra, Ghana. The role ensures that the fixed operational base runs efficiently and delivers against its revenue, profitability and growth targets. It sits at the centre of commercial performance across the fixed business.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and communicate the health of the Fixed customer base, and own all customer engagement channels, including e-mail marketing planning and execution, to drive stickiness and campaign results.
• Grow the customer base into valuable segments and act as the single point of contact for base analytics.
• Provide regular, up-to-date customer insight with relevant KPIs, and share data, insights and results with stakeholders, advising on improvements.
• Manage customer segment and campaign analysis and reporting, and supervise and prioritise Base Management campaigns and the wider propositions development roadmap.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Customer Experience teams, acting as a central performance interface and translating commercial strategy into measurable targets, supporting planning, forecasting and performance reviews.
• Track benefits realisation from commercial initiatives and ensure adherence to commercial policies, controls and governance.
• Develop the Telecel Fixed broadband Loyalty Programme, covering strategy, implementation, performance and optimisation.
• Create and update ad hoc and regular base performance reports.

Required profile

• Minimum of a degree; Marketing, Mathematics, Finance or a related field is beneficial.
• At least 2 years' experience in a commercial or CVM role.
• Nice to have: thought leadership and initiative with little supervision, proven stakeholder management, problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to anticipate industry, technology and customer trend shifts.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
• Analytics tools such as Tableau and SQL.
