Full Stack Engineer (National Service)

About the role

SAI Technology is hiring recent university graduates eligible for or starting their National Service Scheme (NSS) year in Ghana as Full Stack Engineers. The role is based in Accra and is remote-friendly, and takes place during the 2026 National Service year. You will be a full member of the product engineering team, writing code deployed to production, designing APIs and building responsive interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Build full-stack features and backend services for products such as Transveo, Operon, Swift Transport, Casa360 and client systems
• Design REST and GraphQL/RPC APIs, write database migrations (PostgreSQL, Supabase) and maintain data validation
• Implement user interfaces with React, Next.js, Astro and Tailwind CSS
• Integrate LLMs, document extraction, automated workflows and agentic tools into production software
• Write unit, integration and end-to-end tests
• Take part in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerization, staging validations and production deployments

Required profile

• NSS personnel: recent graduate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field, or demonstrably self-taught
• Has built and shipped software before, through projects, open source, hackathons or internships
• Comfortable with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend framework or database
• Self-starter who reads documentation, uses AI developer tools and learns quickly
