Head of Sales

About the role

The Head of Sales will lead the sales function for Travel People Limited, a customer‑focused travel company based in Accra. This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the client base across corporate and individual travelers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies, set targets and monitor performance against goals.
• Manage and mentor the sales team, coordinate account management activities and build strong client relationships.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with leadership on pricing, service offerings and ensure client experiences align with the company’s RATE core values.
• Work closely with operations and customer service to deliver seamless travel solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior sales roles, preferably within travel, hospitality or related service industries.
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
• Track record of building scalable sales processes and implementing CRM or sales management tools.
