Hotel Manager

About the role

The Hotel Manager oversees all operational outlets of the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra, ensuring smooth daily business, profitability, quality assurance, and staff leadership. They also act as the General Manager’s substitute when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize sales and manage promotional activities to increase revenue.
• Coordinate, initiate, and control all operational processes, delegating tasks appropriately.
• Serve as the link between the General Manager and department heads, ensuring effective communication.
• Implement annual performance reviews, development plans, and disciplinary actions in collaboration with the GM.
• Lead safety, protection, and security measures, including fire protection and emergency procedures.
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and forecast/yield management for the rooms division.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Tourism/Hotel Management or related field.
• International experience in comparable luxury hotel positions.
• Strong analytical thinking and executive competence.
• Ability to motivate, supervise, and lead teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Budgeting and financial planning experience.
• Fluency in written and oral French is an advantage.
