HR Superintendent

About the role

Genser Energy Ghana Limited (GEGL) is looking for an HR Superintendent to manage and coordinate all human resources activities and employee relations for its corporate offices. The role covers HRIS management, employee relations, training and development, payroll administration, benefits and compensation, and general administrative functions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate job descriptions and lead the interview process for vacant positions, drafting offer letters and employment contracts.
• Run onboarding and offboarding, including orientation programmes, separation notices, exit interviews and coordination with the IT team on technology access.
• Keep employee records up to date in the HRIS, including benefits, health insurance, pension plans and personnel transactions.
• Manage salary, payroll and benefits, administer leave programmes and ensure compliance with Ghanaian immigration requirements for foreign nationals.
• Investigate workplace accidents and disciplinary matters with Health & Safety and Legal & Compliance, and oversee office spaces and guesthouses.
• Create and maintain HR policies, train staff on them, and improve processes, talent acquisition and payroll management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR or Psychology (mandatory); Master's degree in Business is a plus.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in business administration, HR or organizational development.
• Strong analytical skills focused on data and process optimization, and exceptional attention to detail.
• Proven ability to keep confidential information secure.
