Industrial Attachment Programme Intern

About the role

ZyraTech Hub, a Ghana-based technology ecosystem offering IT services, software and web development, and tech education, is running an Industrial Attachment Programme Intern position at its Koforidua location. The intern works on-site and supports ongoing projects and daily operations, observing industrial processes, taking part in training sessions and helping implement technology-focused workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with industrial process observations and take part in training sessions.
• Support the implementation of technology-focused workflows within the hub's ecosystem.
• Help collect and analyse basic data related to operations.
• Contribute to documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with mentors and team members on assigned tasks.
• Engage with training programmes and shadow experienced staff to understand industrial and manufacturing practices.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes and learning outcomes.

Required profile

• Enrolment in or recent completion of a diploma or degree in engineering, technology or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Koforidua, follow safety and operational guidelines and adapt to a structured industrial attachment schedule.
• Proactive attitude, reliability and openness to mentorship and feedback are highly beneficial.

Required skills

• Analytical skills to assess processes, interpret data and identify areas for improvement.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams, report findings and take part in training.
• Foundational knowledge or interest in Industrial Engineering, and basic awareness of manufacturing environments.
• Interest in training and learning, with the ability to apply new concepts.
