About the role
The Junior Mechanical Engineer plays a key part in designing and developing mechanical components for smart agricultural and engineering solutions. The role suits early-career professionals with 0-2 years of experience and covers the full product lifecycle, from conceptual design and CAD modelling to prototyping, testing and manufacturing support. It involves close collaboration with senior engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in creating and modifying mechanical designs using CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Support the prototyping and fabrication of mechanical components under engineering supervision.
- Take part in testing and evaluating prototypes to check design integrity and performance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues and improve designs.
- Maintain accurate records of design changes, test results and project progress.
- Contribute to manufacturing by giving design feedback and checking build feasibility.
