Life Planner

About the role

The Life Planner position is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Kumasi, focused on helping clients protect their financial future through appropriate life assurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Engage prospective and existing clients to assess their financial protection needs.
• Present and explain life insurance policy features, benefits, and underwriting processes.
• Prepare proposals, guide clients through application steps, and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Achieve sales targets and participate in branch marketing and outreach activities.
• Provide ongoing policy reviews, customer support, and uphold regulatory and company standards.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in life insurance and general insurance concepts.
• Proven sales ability, including prospecting, relationship building, negotiation and closing.
• Experience or aptitude in marketing financial or insurance products.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Goal‑oriented, resilient, able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Minimum diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, Finance or related field; certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in insurance, financial advisory or customer‑facing sales roles is beneficial.
• Must be 26 years of age or older.
