Logistics Coordinator – Ghana

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will act as the key link between clients, internal departments, customs authorities, shipping lines, terminal operators and transporters, ensuring smooth coordination of logistics operations across Accra and Tema.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics operations and transport activities.
• Manage customer relationships and provide quotations and cost control.
• Ensure customs and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain job files and documentation.
• Oversee stakeholder and regulatory relationships.
• Perform other duties as required.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of customs procedures, port handling and trucking coordination.
• Knowledge of sea, air and land import/export documentation (MBL/HBL, delivery orders, gate‑in/gate‑out).
• Experience with cross‑border and temporary importation tracking.
• Familiarity with local customs legislation and customs systems.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, including on‑site supervision at ports/terminals.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in logistics or a related field.
• 3‑5+ years of experience in sea/air freight, port operations or related logistics ground operations.
• Previous logistics supervisor, coordinator or managerial role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transport management systems.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
