Marketing and Sales Officer

About the role

Jetaway Travel And Tour is looking for a Marketing and Sales Officer based in Accra. The role covers developing and executing marketing and sales plans, generating leads, converting prospects into bookings and building relationships with corporate clients, travel partners and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing and sales plans aligned with the company's growth objectives.
• Pursue new business opportunities, corporate accounts, partnerships and customer segments.
• Promote flight ticketing, tour packages, hotel reservations and other travel services.
• Generate leads through direct sales, networking, referrals, digital platforms and other channels.
• Follow up enquiries, prepare quotations, negotiate and convert prospects into confirmed bookings.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, corporate clients, travel partners and other stakeholders.
• Conduct market research on customer needs, competitors, trends and new opportunities.
• Run promotional campaigns, sales initiatives and customer acquisition activities, working with the digital marketing team.
• Prepare sales proposals, presentations and marketing materials.
• Identify opportunities for repeat business, retention, cross-selling and upselling.
• Prepare periodic marketing and sales reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, HND or relevant qualification in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Tourism or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development or a similar commercial role.
• Experience in travel and tourism, hospitality or the service industry is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads, build customer relationships and close sales.

Required skills

• Strong negotiation, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of customer acquisition, sales pipeline management and market research.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
