Marketing Officer

About the role

The Marketing Officer will support the planning and execution of marketing activities aimed at farmers, agro‑dealers and the general public for a leading agro‑processing company in Ghana. The role involves digital marketing, brand support, and coordination of engagement events to boost visibility and customer interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of marketing strategies targeting farmers and agro‑dealers.
• Coordinate marketing campaigns, promotional activities and farmer engagement initiatives.
• Manage social media platforms and create content for target audiences.
• Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across owned channels and Digital PR platforms.
• Prepare monthly content calendars and monitor campaign performance.
• Organise farm visits, workshops, training sessions and product demonstrations.
• Maintain brand consistency and collaborate with the Sales team to align marketing with commercial objectives.
• Maintain databases of farmers and agro‑dealers for targeted activities.
• Track marketing budgets, coordinate event logistics and process requests for branded materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree, HND or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in commercial, agricultural or FMCG environments.
• Experience in digital marketing, social media management, event coordination or field‑based customer engagement.
• Practical proficiency with camera usage and knowledge of current affairs.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
