Media and Communication Consultant – Gender Sensitive Multi‑media Package

About the role
The World University Service of Canada (WUSC) seeks an experienced Media and Communication Consultant to design and deliver a gender‑sensitive multi‑media package for the EMPLOY project in Ghana. Working remotely, you will support the project’s aim to improve market participation for young women across seven regions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and produce multimedia content (videos, graphics, social media assets) that reflects gender‑sensitive messaging.
- Coordinate with the Project Director and local partners to ensure alignment with EMPLOY objectives.
- Manage the end‑to‑end production cycle, from concept through delivery, for all media outputs.
- Monitor and report on the performance of media materials, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Provide technical guidance to local teams on media best practices.
Required profile
- Proven experience in media and communication consultancy, preferably in development or NGO contexts.
- Demonstrated understanding of gender‑sensitive communication.
- Ability to work independently and remotely across multiple Ghanaian regions.
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
