MEP & Processing Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced engineering leader to oversee the MEP and processing maintenance of a high‑volume food processing plant. The manager will safeguard critical infrastructure, drive reliability initiatives, and support expansion projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage power generation assets (diesel, solar, grid) and water‑treatment systems, ensuring continuous energy supply.
• Lead the maintenance strategy for food‑processing equipment, guaranteeing proper calibration and food‑safety compliance.
• Oversee industrial refrigeration, cold‑room and HVAC systems to maintain cold‑chain integrity.
• Collaborate daily with processing, mechanical, project and warehouse managers to minimise downtime and integrate new infrastructure.
• Champion safety and compliance, enforcing lock‑out/tag‑out (LOTO) procedures and other safety protocols.

Required profile

• BSc in Electrical/Electronic, Electromechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 9+ years of experience in industrial plant maintenance, power generation or automation.
• Proven expertise with diesel generators/alternators, industrial refrigeration (cold rooms) and PLC/automation systems.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to manage diverse technologies.
