Senior Reliability Engineer

About the role

Responsible for providing process support to develop operational transition strategies and monitoring services to achieve processing capacity and product quality during commissioning, start‑up and operation stages.

Key responsibilities

• Design operational transition strategies and define recommended ranges and safe limits for each process stage.
• Identify control points and transition criteria between operating scenarios and provide technical support to clients on laboratory testing and metallurgical processes.
• Develop initial operational decision trees, manage deviations, and support equipment commissioning related to process issues.
• Monitor critical variables, evaluate failure modes, and adjust operational ranges based on actual performance.
• Promote a safety culture, participate in HSEQA programs and report incidents, near misses, and substandard conditions.

Required profile

• Degree in Metallurgical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering with focus on metallurgical processes.
• At least 8 years of experience in mining process plants, equipment or services, including 2 years in plant operation.
• Experience in at least one of: technical sales, service proposals, equipment/process engineering, or consulting/optimization services.
• Additional experience in metallurgical testing at laboratory or pilot scale, knowledge of mining equipment (comminution, classification, separation) and data analysis.

Required skills

• Metallurgical testing (lab and pilot scale).

• Management and statistical analysis of metallurgical process data.
