About the role
Stereda Pharmaceuticals Limited, founded in 2008 and now operating several branches across Ghana, is hiring a part-time or full-time, on-site Pharmacy Technician in Afrikiko. The technician supports pharmacists in processing prescriptions, preparing and dispensing medications and keeping accurate records.
Key responsibilities
- Support pharmacists in processing prescriptions
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately
- Maintain accurate documentation
Required profile
- Certificate in Pharmacy Technology or a related field, and registration with the relevant professional body
- Experience working as or alongside pharmacy technicians in a retail or hospital setting
- Willingness to work part-time hours, including evenings, weekends or holidays as needed
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of prescriptions and safe, accurate dispensing
- Foundational understanding of pharmacy operations and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Inventory control: stock monitoring, rotation and documentation
- Customer service with empathy, professionalism and clear communication
- Attention to detail, reliability and adherence to standard operating procedures
