Programme Director, AGAMal (Obuasi)

About the role

AGAMal is a non-profit working toward malaria elimination in Ghana and is restructuring its operations. It is looking for a Programme Director in Obuasi to lead that transformation. The role provides strategic and executive leadership, advising the Board on strategy, operations and policy.

Key responsibilities

• Set the strategic agenda and mobilise resources
• Build partnerships with government, donors and the private sector
• Oversee malaria control and integrated public health programmes
• Advise the Board on strategy, operations and policy

Required profile

• Master's degree in Public Health, Medical Entomology, Epidemiology, Tropical Medicine or a related field
• At least 5 years in senior leadership within public health or development programmes
• Experience managing large, multi-site, donor-funded programmes and multidisciplinary teams
• Results-driven, innovative leader with strong integrity and stakeholder skills

Required skills

• Resource mobilisation, proposal development and financial oversight
• Knowledge of malaria control and integrated vector management
