Programme Officer – Digital Economic Empowerment

About the role

We are seeking a Programme Officer to lead the delivery of digital‑economy training and manage the IT academy in Accra. The role will work closely with partners, government bodies and disability organisations to create inclusive employment opportunities for young people with disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate partners to deliver digital skills and entrepreneurship activities across academy pathways.
• Maintain implementation plans, budgets, timelines and ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Support participant mobilisation, progression and successful completion of programmes.
• Build and nurture relationships with government, private sector, NGOs, OPDs and other ecosystem actors.
• Strengthen monitoring, evaluation and learning by collecting high‑quality data and generating insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience managing donor‑funded or multi‑partner projects, including planning, budgeting and reporting.
• Knowledge of Ghana’s digital economy and a strong commitment to disability inclusion and gender equality.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder‑management abilities with confident communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• General IT competency.
