Regional Sales Manager – SME & SOHO (Ashanti, Bono & Ahafo)

About the role

The SME Regional Sales Manager will drive growth and operational effectiveness of Telecel’s SME and SOHO sales initiatives across the Ashanti, Bono and Ahafo regions. Reporting to the Regional Head, the role combines strategic leadership, market insight and hands‑on coordination to meet business targets.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, manage and mentor Mobile, Fixed Broadband and Fixed Voice & Data sales teams, including High Value Account Managers, contractors and freelancers.
• Design and execute sales strategies for SMEs, SOHOs, gated communities and commercial properties.
• Lead the team to achieve sales, revenue and commercial KPIs across all product lines.
• Oversee day‑to‑day sales operations ensuring process alignment and operational excellence.
• Provide market, trade and competitive insights to senior management.
• Contribute to product development, proof‑of‑concept initiatives and go‑to‑market launches.
• Report performance and activities to the Regional Head on a regular basis.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine commercial strategies and indirect channel plans.
• Lead customer visits and negotiate sales agreements in line with service standards.
• Champion innovation by developing internal tools and processes for FBB and Fixed Voice services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in telecoms or IT‑related services with a strong sales leadership record.
• First degree in Telecommunications, Business Management or related field (essential).
• Post‑graduate business qualification such as an MBA (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant mid‑management experience.
