SME Regional Sales Manager – Ashanti, Bono & Ahafo

About the role

The SME Regional Sales Manager will lead Telecel Ghana’s sales initiatives for SMEs and SOHO customers across the Ashanti, Bono and Ahafo regions. The role combines strategic planning, team leadership and market analysis to drive revenue and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, manage and mentor mobile, fixed‑broadband and fixed voice & data sales teams, including high‑value account managers and freelancers.
• Plan and execute sales strategies targeting SMEs, SOHOs, gated communities and commercial properties to meet business targets.
• Provide market, trade and competitive insights to senior management for strategic decision‑making.
• Contribute to product development, proof‑of‑concept processes and go‑to‑market deployment for new offerings.
• Report team performance to the Regional Head on a regular basis and collaborate with key stakeholders to refine commercial strategies.

Required profile

• 5+ years of mid‑management experience in telecom or IT‑related sales leadership.
• First degree in Telecommunications, Business Management or B.Com; postgraduate qualification (MBA) preferred.
• Proven success in high‑value account management and customer‑facing environments.
• Strong people‑management and team‑leadership capabilities.
