Regional Supply Chain Manager - West Africa (Expat in Ghana)

About the role

MAXAM is looking for an experienced Regional Supply Chain Manager to lead Supply Chain operations across West Africa, ensuring efficient, reliable and cost-effective support to its business activities in the region. The position is based in Accra, Ghana, covering Ghana, Mali, Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast, with frequent travel across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end Supply Chain activities across the West African countries and the Supply Chain team.
• Ensure product availability through planning, procurement, inventory management and logistics.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships and regional sourcing initiatives.
• Monitor performance, drive continuous improvement and optimise costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, security and sustainability standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, ideally in multinational or industrial environments, managing supply chain, logistics, procurement and planning.
• Proven experience managing regional or multi-country operations and leading cross-functional teams.
• Background in mining, chemicals, manufacturing or other industrial sectors highly valued.
• Fluent English required; French and Spanish are valuable.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the West Africa region.
