Sales Manager - Furniture & Interior Design

About the role

A leading interior design and furniture manufacturing company, specialising in modern kitchens, wardrobes, walk-in closets, TV units and bespoke furniture, is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead its sales team and drive business growth. The position is based in East Legon, Accra.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Promote and sell furniture products through client visits, presentations and digital channels.
• Collaborate with architects and interior designers on site measurements, presentations and project proposals.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent customer service and repeat business.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports, including forecasts and market insights.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows and client meetings.
• Work closely with design and production teams so that customer specifications are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience, ideally in furniture, interior design or manufacturing; other industries with transferable skills are also considered.
• At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Team-oriented leader able to motivate and manage a sales team.

Required skills

• Strong negotiation, communication and client relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to forecast sales and identify growth opportunities.
