Sales & Marketing Specialist

About the role

Merchap Ghana is seeking a dynamic Sales & Marketing Specialist to drive growth of its tissue and cleaning product portfolio across Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi. The role combines prospecting new business, nurturing existing client relationships, and executing targeted marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new B2B opportunities within hotels, hospitals, businesses and market traders.
• Maintain and expand relationships with current customers, handling inquiries, quotations and after‑sales support.
• Conduct market research, monitor competitors and gather customer feedback to inform strategy.
• Develop and launch sales and promotional campaigns, including social media outreach.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and sales reports; manage the sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with internal teams to achieve revenue and market‑share targets.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present products clearly.
• Proven customer‑service experience and a track record of B2B sales success.
• Experience in lead generation, negotiation and closing deals.
• Background in training or coaching sales techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with sales‑management activities such as pipeline tracking and reporting.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in FMCG, wholesale or hygiene‑related products is beneficial.
