Sales Technician – Solar EPC Solutions

About the role

The Sales Technician (Solar EPC) will drive sales of Akropong Energy's solar solutions while providing technical support to residential, commercial and industrial clients in Accra. You will assess energy needs, prepare proposals and explain system designs in clear, practical terms.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospects, manage client inquiries and follow up leads to close sales.
• Conduct on‑site assessments, coordinate with engineering and installation teams, and ensure accurate information flow throughout the sales cycle.
• Prepare and present proposals, demonstrate solar products and support contract negotiations.
• Deliver basic user training on installed systems and provide post‑sale technical assistance.
• Maintain detailed sales records, update CRM and contribute feedback for product and service improvement.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts.
• Proven sales and negotiation experience, preferably in renewable energy or related fields.
• Comfortable performing on‑site work and coordinating with installation teams in Accra.
• Proficiency with productivity tools such as email, spreadsheets and CRM software.
• Relevant diploma or degree in engineering, energy systems or technical sales, or equivalent practical experience.
