Senior Key Account Manager – Home Category

About the role

The Senior Key Account Manager (Home) drives growth, revenue and market share for Jumia’s home, living and lifestyle portfolio. Acting as the primary commercial link, you will manage high‑value relationships with top global brands, regional manufacturers, distributors and local vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage key accounts and top brands within the Home category, building long‑lasting commercial partnerships.
• Develop and implement category‑specific commercial strategies to scale sales volume, maximize revenue and grow market share.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create and execute high‑impact promotional campaigns such as Home Makeover Week and Black Friday.
• Analyze sales data, stock turn and industry trends to identify growth opportunities and competitive pricing strategies.
• Lead commercial negotiations to secure exclusive product launches, best‑in‑market pricing and optimal margin contributions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven commercial or account management experience, preferably in e‑commerce, home retail or FMCG.
• Strong understanding of the Home category, including decor, furniture, kitchenware and consumer market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and inventory monitoring.
