Senior Key Account Manager – Appliances & TV

About the role

The Senior Key Account Manager for Appliances & TV will drive growth, revenue and market share for Jumia’s home appliances and television portfolio. Acting as the primary commercial link, you will manage high‑value relationships with top global brands, distributors and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage key accounts, top brands and distributors within the Appliances & TV category to build strong, long‑lasting commercial partnerships.
• Develop and implement category‑specific commercial strategies to scale sales volume, maximise revenue and grow market share.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create and execute high‑impact promotional campaigns such as Tech Week, Black Friday and Brand Days.
• Analyse sales data, stock turn and market trends to identify growth opportunities, gap assortments and competitive pricing strategies.
• Lead commercial negotiations to secure exclusive product launches, best‑in‑market pricing and optimal margin contributions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of proven commercial or account‑management experience, preferably in e‑commerce, consumer electronics or home appliances.
• Strong understanding of the Appliances & TV category, including technical specifications, brand positioning and market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Proactive, self‑motivated attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis and inventory monitoring.
• Proficiency with data tools to track sales targets, inventory health and market trends.
