Senior Storekeeper – Warehouse Operations

About the role

Geodrill Limited is seeking two experienced Senior Storekeepers to manage its warehouse operations across West Africa. The role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, handling fuel and lubricant logistics, and supporting daily accounting for material movements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date records of all store items.
• Assist with receipt, issue, and documentation of materials, spares, fuel, lubricants and chemicals.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and waybills with accurate quantities and barcode references.
• Record material receipts and support periodic stock‑taking activities.
• Oversee fuel and lubricant deliveries, ensuring proper measurement, purity checks and accurate issuance.
• Compile back‑order reports and monitor minimum‑stock (Min‑Max) levels for timely replenishment.
• Submit daily fuel and lubricant issuance/receipt reports to the stores accountant.

Required profile

• High School certificate or higher.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a busy store or warehouse environment.
• Ability to work independently and long hours, with willingness to travel across West African job sites.
• Good knowledge of warehousing principles, procedures and MS Office suite.
• Experience in mining or extractive industries and familiarity with mechanical parts is an advantage.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to lead or work within a team.
