Social Media Manager

About the role

Tallyvox is looking for a remote Social Media Manager to run its day‑to‑day presence across multiple platforms. You will engage with business owners, grow the audience organically, keep scheduled content on brand, and report performance.

Key responsibilities

• Daily engagement on X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Bluesky, Pinterest and Reddit – liking, commenting and following genuine business owners.
• Prepare and submit a short approval list of comments, likes and follows each session, then execute at a natural pace.
• Monitor and respond to replies, mentions and messages, routing important items to the founder.
• Run community threads, manage the Facebook group, vet new followers and maintain a watch‑list of follows/unfollows.
• Review scheduled posts for brand consistency, flag off‑brand or broken content, and help generate ideas, captions and asset checks for upcoming batches.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on social media management for a brand, agency or business.
• Excellent written English with the ability to craft thoughtful, non‑template comments.
• Strong judgment to distinguish real business owners from bots, spam or competitors.
• Reliable, organized and comfortable following a written process and keeping clean records.

Required skills

• Proficiency with major platforms: LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Bluesky, Pinterest, Reddit.
• Experience using scheduling tools and basic design tools such as Canva.
