About the role
The Sustainability Lead will drive Old Mutual’s ESG strategy, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and corporate objectives. This senior position will champion sustainability initiatives across operations, underwriting, and investment decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, refine and implement the organisation’s sustainability and ESG roadmap in line with corporate strategy.
- Monitor emerging ESG regulations, disclosure requirements and market expectations to ensure full compliance.
- Lead sustainability projects from concept through execution, managing budgets, resources and timelines.
- Prepare sustainability reports and track ESG performance metrics for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for green insurance products and sustainable investment strategies.
