Training Officer - L&D

About the role

The Training Officer-L&D supports the planning, coordination, delivery and evaluation of employee learning and development initiatives. The role covers training programs, analysis of learning data, preparation of training reports and field coaching support to improve employee capabilities and performance. It is a full-time position based in Takoradi.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of training calendars and coordinate internal and external training programs.
• Assist with induction, refresher, technical, soft skills, sales and compliance training sessions.
• Prepare and update training materials aligned with organizational needs.
• Collect, organize and analyze training data such as attendance records, assessment results and performance indicators.
• Identify skills gaps and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly training reports, dashboards and summaries for management.
• Maintain accurate training records, databases and documentation.
• Conduct field coaching visits with sales representatives and supervisors and provide on-the-job coaching on sales skills, product knowledge and customer engagement.
• Develop and monitor coaching action plans to address performance gaps.
• Support continuous improvement of training delivery and employee capability building.
