Investor Relations and Communications Associate

About the role

FundaPartner is seeking a detail‑oriented Investor Relations & Communications Associate to support daily operations, manage deal documentation, and drive the company’s social‑media presence.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and organize secure Virtual Data Rooms (e.g., DocSend, Google Workspace) for active capital raises.
• Ensure NDAs are signed before distributing pitch decks, investment memorandums, and financial models to verified investors.
• Keep the investor pipeline CRM updated with communications, follow‑ups, and investment mandates.
• Screen inbound business inquiries to confirm they meet the USD 500,000 minimum threshold.
• Own daily execution of LinkedIn and X (Twitter) channels, turning market insights into posts, threads, and infographics.
• Create anonymized deal teasers for public distribution to attract investor interest.
• Assist leadership with ghost‑writing thought‑leadership content on African FDI and macro‑economic trends.
• Compile and distribute the “Private Deal Ledger” newsletter to global allocators and local partners.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in investor relations, finance, or communications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
