About the role
The Relationship Manager – Fintech will lead the bank’s engagement with fintech firms, including payment providers, digital lenders, insurtechs, neobanks and other technology‑enabled financial services. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will drive revenue by originating investment‑banking transactions, balance‑sheet solutions and strategic partnerships.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with fintech clients, understanding their business models, growth plans and regulatory environment.
- Identify and originate opportunities such as capital raising, M&A, structured finance and balance‑sheet solutions.
- Cross‑sell the bank’s investment‑banking, treasury and transaction‑banking products.
- Coordinate internal product teams to structure and execute mandates, supporting due‑diligence, financial analysis and pitch preparation.
- Participate in negotiations and transaction execution to achieve commercial objectives.
- Monitor fintech market trends, regulatory changes and emerging technologies to provide strategic advice.
- Ensure compliance with credit policies, KYC/AML requirements and work with risk, legal and compliance teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of the Financial Institutions Unit.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
- 5‑8 years of experience in investment banking, corporate banking or financial coverage, preferably with fintech clients.
- Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACA, ACCA or MBA are an advantage.
- Formal training: ACI Dealership Certificate.
- Proven track record in relationship management and deal origination.
