Engagement Manager – Public Health (French Speaker)

About the role

The Engagement Manager will lead public‑health projects for IQVIA, ensuring delivery excellence and client satisfaction while leveraging deep expertise in the African health sector. The role combines project leadership, business development and thought‑leadership activities.

Key responsibilities

• Understand client requirements, define project scope and lead delivery using the Assess‑Design‑Develop‑Deliver‑Monitor framework.
• Manage project teams, vendors, field schedules, data processing and questionnaire programming.
• Ensure project profitability, timely invoicing, quality and risk management.
• Identify new business opportunities, develop proposals and present to clients.
• Support learning initiatives, drive process improvements and produce thought‑leadership reports.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Economics, Public Policy or International Development; MBBS/BHMS is a plus.
• 12+ years of professional experience with at least 5 years in mid‑level management.
• Prior consulting or advisory experience in the public‑health sector in Africa and experience managing large‑scale projects for government or donor agencies.
• Fluent in English (C1) and French (C1); Portuguese (B2) is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel and adapt to changing environments.
