Head of Marketing

About the role

The Head of Marketing will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies to drive sales, revenue growth and brand visibility for Irisk Management Limited.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales, revenue growth, and brand visibility.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate the marketing and sales team to achieve set targets.
• Monitor daily sales and marketing activities and track team performance against targets.
• Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to attract and retain customers.
• Develop and execute campaigns, promotions, and other marketing initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.
• Work closely with other departments to align marketing activities with overall business objectives.
• Prepare regular marketing and sales performance reports for management.
• Manage the marketing budget and ensure effective use of resources.
• Coach and mentor team members to improve performance and achieve business objectives.
• Represent the company at relevant industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Insurance, or a related discipline (Chartered Insurance qualification is an advantage).
• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in insurance sales, with at least three (3) years in a leadership role managing marketing teams.
• Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and building high‑performing teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship‑management skills.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, sales, and marketing strategies.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision‑making skills.
