Head of Marketing

About the role

The Head of Marketing will lead the creation and execution of Travel People Limited’s marketing strategy, aligning it with business goals and brand values. This full‑time, on‑site position in Accra oversees both digital and traditional channels to drive customer acquisition and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy and brand positioning in the travel market.
• Oversee all marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
• Plan, execute and monitor marketing initiatives, analysing performance data to optimise results.
• Manage marketing budgets, agencies and cross‑functional projects.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to support customer acquisition and retention.
• Mentor and manage the marketing team, building strategic partnerships and ensuring consistent messaging.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading marketing strategy and campaigns, preferably in travel, hospitality or service‑oriented industries.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing practices, brand management, market research and customer segmentation.
• Experience managing budgets, agencies and cross‑functional projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership experience coaching and developing a marketing team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field; advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
