Registered Dental Surgery Assistant (RDSA) / Nurse

About the role

Smilecraft Dentistry is seeking a full‑time Registered Dental Surgery Assistant (RDSA) / Nurse to join its team in Adenta, Ghana. The successful candidate will work on‑site supporting dental practitioners to deliver high‑quality oral care in a patient‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring proper instrument handling and patient comfort.
• Maintain a sterile and organized clinical setting by performing sterilization and infection‑control protocols.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post‑treatment care.
• Manage patient records, documentation, and appointment scheduling using clinic computer systems.
• Monitor and replenish dental supplies and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Nursing, Dental Surgery Assisting, or a related healthcare field.
• Registered Dental Surgery Assistant (RDSA) certification or equivalent preferred.
• Valid professional licence where applicable.
• Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
