Sales Specialist – Building Materials

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Sales Specialist to accelerate growth and expand market presence in the building‑materials sector. The role combines direct client engagement, order acquisition, and support for showroom and promotional activities.

Key responsibilities

• Visit existing and prospective clients to solicit orders and strengthen relationships.
• Report market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to management.
• Follow up on payments, manage returned cheques and ensure timely collection.
• Support showroom operations, maintaining optimal product presentation.
• Research market needs and propose business strategies.
• Assist in organizing marketing events and promotional campaigns.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with supply‑chain teams.
• Maintain accurate customer records and deliver high‑quality service.
• Prepare and present regular sales reports.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of sales experience, preferably in the building‑materials industry.
• Strong negotiation, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
