Vehicle Sales Engineer – Vehicle & Spare Parts Sales

About the role

Africa Motors, a division of Delta Equipment Ltd, is seeking a Vehicle Sales Engineer to drive sales and marketing of Isuzu, Chevrolet and Suzuki vehicles and spare parts across the Accra and Tema region. The role involves building customer relationships, managing sales coverage, and supporting product demonstrations to achieve annual targets.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Sales Manager on trading trends, market opportunities and other matters relating to the Motors business.
• Draw up and implement customer call schedules and strategies to achieve annual goals.
• Submit timely reports on activities in the territory.
• Prospect for customers and close vehicle sales.
• Develop and execute call plans for spare parts sales supporting vehicles.
• Organize effective demonstrations and test drives for prospective customers.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and be willing to work long hours and weekends as needed.
• Monitor automotive market trends and proactively respond to business changes.

Required profile

• BSc in Mechanical, Agricultural, Mining or Automotive Engineering.
• Minimum two years of post‑qualification relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and time‑management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and internet usage.
