Audio/Sound Engineer

About the role

A beachside venue is seeking a highly skilled and creative Audio/Sound Engineer to deliver an exceptional audio experience across its club, supporting live performances, DJ sets and curated events with flawless sound quality. The role sits at the heart of maintaining the venue's energetic atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Design, set up and manage sound systems for live events, DJ performances and private functions
• Ensure optimal sound quality, balance and acoustics across indoor and outdoor beach environments
• Operate mixing consoles, amplifiers, microphones and audio processing equipment with precision
• Collaborate with DJs, performers and event managers to achieve the desired sound output
• Conduct sound checks and troubleshoot technical issues promptly during events
• Maintain and service all audio equipment
• Adapt sound setups to different event styles, audience sizes and environmental conditions
• Support lighting and audiovisual integration where required
• Stay current with emerging audio technologies and sound design trends

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Sound Engineer in a club, live event or entertainment setting
• Ability to work in high-energy, fast-paced environments, including nights and weekends
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• A passion for music, nightlife and immersive guest experiences
• Certification or training in audio engineering is an advantage
