CCTV & PA Installer

About the role

HAPPY Program is hiring a CCTV and PA installer in the Accra and Tema region (North Industrial Area). The role covers installing, configuring and maintaining surveillance and public address systems on company sites, working closely with store management, security, ICT and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Install and position CCTV cameras, recording equipment, monitors, network cabling, power supplies and accessories.
• Configure and test digital video recorders, camera views, recording schedules, storage and authorised remote viewing.
• Install and maintain PA amplifiers, speakers, microphones, mixers, cabling and control equipment.
• Diagnose faults such as loss of video, poor image quality, recording failures, network issues, audio distortion and damaged cables.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, system testing, firmware and configuration checks where authorised, and replace faulty components.
• Label cables and equipment, keep installation drawings, IP/device details, asset records and service reports accurate.
• Protect footage, passwords and access information, following confidentiality and access-control procedures.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to schedule work safely and minimise disruption to operations.

Required profile

• Technical certificate, diploma or equivalent practical training in CCTV, electronics, networking, electrical installation or a related field.
• Hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting CCTV and PA systems; basic IP networking knowledge is an advantage.
• Ability to use hand tools, cable-testing equipment and system configuration interfaces.
• Good attention to detail, customer service and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to company sites and work at height when safely equipped.
