About the role
Sunda International is hiring a full-time welder based in the Accra and Tema region. The welder performs arc welding on steel structures, metal components and construction materials, working on construction sites.
Key responsibilities
- Perform arc welding on steel structures, metal components and construction materials.
- Read and follow welding drawings, specifications and instructions.
- Prepare, cut and fit metal materials before welding.
- Inspect welds to ensure quality and structural strength.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain welding equipment.
Required profile
- Proven experience in arc welding, preferably in construction or steel structure installation.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, tools and safety procedures.
- Physically fit and able to work on construction sites.
- Able to read basic technical drawings is an advantage; a relevant welding certificate or vocational training is also an advantage.
