Diagnostic Center Branch Manager

About the role

The Branch Manager oversees the daily operations of a high-performing medical diagnostics and imaging centre, ensuring clinical excellence, operational efficiency and a superior patient experience. The role is primarily based at the Takoradi and Kumasi sites and reports to the General Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the centre running smoothly, covering radiology, laboratory and front office operations, and monitor patient flow, turnaround times, report delivery and service quality against performance benchmarks.
• Enforce SOPs, safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards.
• Lead and mentor radiologists, radiographers, sonographers, technicians and administrative staff; run performance reviews, training and team-building activities; manage staffing schedules for out-of-hours and weekend coverage.
• Oversee budgeting, cost control and revenue generation; monitor billing, collections and insurance claims; analyse financial reports and KPIs.
• Build relationships with referring physicians, corporate clients and partners; handle patient feedback and complaints; promote services through community outreach and marketing.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards, lead audits and inspections, and keep accurate records for regulators.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or a related field.
• At least 5 years in healthcare operations, preferably in diagnostics/imaging or laboratory services.
