Diagnostic Center Branch Manager (Takoradi & Kumasi)

About the role

The Branch Manager oversees the daily operations of a high-performing medical diagnostics and imaging center, ensuring clinical excellence, operational efficiency and a superior patient experience. The position is primarily based at the Takoradi and Kumasi sites and reports to the General Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure smooth day-to-day running of the centre, including radiology, laboratory and front office operations, and monitor patient flow, turnaround times, report delivery and service quality against performance benchmarks.
• Implement and enforce SOPs, safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams (radiologists, radiographers, sonographers, technicians and administrative staff), conduct performance reviews, training and team-building, and manage staffing schedules for out-of-service hours and weekends.
• Oversee budgeting, cost control and revenue generation; monitor billing, collections and insurance claims; analyse financial reports and KPIs.
• Build relationships with referring physicians, corporate clients and healthcare partners, handle patient feedback and complaints, and promote the centre through community outreach and marketing.
• Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, accreditation standards and quality policies, lead audits and inspections, and keep accurate records for regulators.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in healthcare operations, preferably in diagnostics/imaging or laboratory services.

Required skills

• Substantial experience in customer-facing roles and strong customer service orientation.
• Good mathematical skills, leadership, financial management, stakeholder engagement and regulatory compliance.
• Problem-solving, quick prioritisation, good written and oral communication, attention to detail, honesty and integrity.
