Digital Media Officer

About the role

A Digital Media Officer is needed in Accra (North Legon) to create and manage visual content for the organisation's communications, working closely with the Communications Officer. The position is full time, 8am to 5pm.

Key responsibilities

• Graphic design: develop graphics, illustrations and infographics for the website, social media and other communications, keeping them consistent with branding guidelines.
• Multimedia content creation: produce videos and animations for communication campaigns, aligned with the strategy.
• Social media engagement: help manage and monitor social media accounts so they match the visual identity.
• Website design and maintenance: improve the website's design and user experience and keep graphics up to date.
• Photography and videography: capture photos and videos of events and projects for documentation and promotion.
• Branding and visual identity: work with the Communications Officer to keep the visual identity strong across all channels.
• Stay updated on digital media trends, tools and technologies, and perform ad hoc tasks as directed by the line manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role.
• Willingness to work full time, 8am to 5pm.
• Fluent English.
