Sales and Marketing Intern

About the role

PeerTuPeer is a peer-to-peer crypto marketplace founded in Ghana, where individuals trade directly with each other without banks, intermediaries or borders, and is expanding across Africa. It is looking for a remote Sales and Marketing Intern to support daily sales and marketing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with users through online channels, respond to inquiries and explain platform features clearly
• Assist with customer onboarding and training
• Collect feedback to improve the user experience
• Help run outreach campaigns targeting crypto users across Africa
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to track basic performance metrics and identify potential leads
• Contribute ideas to grow platform visibility and user adoption

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with diverse users
• Customer service skills to support and guide users on the platform
• Sales skills to identify leads, present platform value and encourage engagement
• Interest in cryptocurrency, fintech or digital marketplaces; prior exposure is an advantage
• Ability to work independently remotely, manage time well and learn quickly
• Current student or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred

Required skills

• Comfort using online collaboration tools and social media for outreach and communication
• Basic sales management skills to support onboarding and follow-up
